Songtrust is the music technology division of Downtown Music Publishing. During the 5 years on a small and agile team, I contributed full-stack engineering and was responsible for the design and development of many components that powered the business. I was responsible for the ongoing architecture and maintenance of an AWS cloud-computing infrastructure, continuous integration and deployment to multi-environment services, distributed systems integration through asynchronous queuing, major restructuring of the databases through complex schema and data migrations, a custom RESTful API that was tailored for use internally and by partners, many automation tools that enable a small admin team to handle a constantly scaling load, single-page client interfaces built with a variety of front-end frameworks, a massive data mining operation against the APIs of major audio streaming services, and a native iOS application.
